Matthew 14:9-11

⁹ And the king was sorry. Nevertheless, because of the oath, and those who sat with him at the table, he commanded it to be given to her;

¹⁰ and sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

¹¹ And his head was brought, on a platter, and given to the maid. And she brought it to her mother.
